North HVAC Services Heating and Air Conditioning designs, installs, repairs, and maintains ductless systems throughout Marin and Sonoma counties.
Flexible Comfort Without Traditional Ductwork
A ductless AC system moves conditioned air directly into the room through a compact indoor unit. One outdoor unit may support a single zone or several indoor zones, depending on the design. Each zone can have its own control, which makes ductless mini-splits useful when family members prefer different temperatures or certain rooms are used only part of the day.
Ductless equipment can also provide heating, making it a practical year-round option. We commonly discuss it for garages, studios, additions, upstairs rooms, and homes where installing full ductwork would be disruptive. Our comfort advisor evaluates placement, capacity, condensate drainage, electrical needs, and appearance before recommending a layout.
Professional Ductless Installation in Petaluma, CA, Matters
Correct sizing and placement have a major effect on comfort. An indoor unit should distribute air across the space without creating an annoying draft, while the outdoor unit needs stable support and appropriate clearance. Refrigerant lines, wiring, and drainage must also be routed carefully.
North HVAC Services Heating and Air Conditioning is a Mitsubishi Preferred Diamond Contractor. We install qualifying Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits with access to a 12-year Diamond Warranty. Our installations include a 10-year workmanship guarantee, and VIP Install clients may qualify for up to a 10-year labor warranty. Before the job is complete, we test each operating mode, review the controls, and explain basic filter care so you can use the system with confidence.
Ductless AC Repair and Maintenance in Petaluma, CA
Ductless systems need attention when they leak water, stop responding to the controller, produce weak airflow, make unusual noises, or fail to heat or cool. Our service technicians service multiple brands and inspect both the indoor and outdoor portions of the ductless AC system. We look for control, drainage, electrical, airflow, and refrigeration problems before recommending a repair.
Routine maintenance helps keep coils, filters, blowers, and drains in better condition. It is especially important for ductless mini-splits that operate in high-use rooms throughout the year. North HVAC Services Heating and Air Conditioning offers standard and VIP maintenance memberships. Clients who maintain eligible equipment with us may also receive a five-year labor warranty.
